TERRAthin®
Technology

Pressed, not poured.

TERRAthin® is produced on precision‑engineered hermetic pressing systems. Where conventional wet‑cast slabs rely on moulds and vibration alone, TERRAthin® combines vacuum dewatering, controlled vibration and high pressure.
Manufacturing Process

Five controlled stages, one homogeneous tile.

  1. 01Batch & mix
  2. 02Hermetic press
  3. 03Vacuum dewater
  4. 04Vibrate
  5. 05Calibrate

Binder, fillers and aggregates are batched and mixed under controlled conditions, so every tile starts from the same formulation.

Patented technology presses each tile in a sealed chamber into a compact terrazzo matrix.

Excess mix water and entrapped air are actively extracted during pressing — the source of TERRAthin®'s minimal internal porosity.

Applied together with high pressure to settle the matrix and ensure uniform density through the full tile thickness.

Tiles are calibrated to tight dimensional tolerances, with excellent surface integrity and edge quality.

Single‑Layer Construction

Homogeneous all the way through.

Each tile is a single‑layer composition with no backing or laminated layers. Performance is uniform across the full 20 mm thickness, which allows superior grinding and polishing and long‑term wear resistance.
